Lemon Myrtle Roasted Macadamias
Ingredients
- 1 cup raw macadamias
- 1 tsp extra virgin olive oil
- 2 tsp Lemon juice
- 3 tsp dried lemon myrtle (I used Kakadu Plum Lemon Myrtle)
- Zest of 1 lemon
- Pinch cayenne pepper or ground chilli
- Pinch good quality salt
Instructions
- Pre-heat oven to 160°C.
- In a mixing bowl toss macadamia nuts with olive oil and lemon juice to coat evenly.
- Add lemon myrtle, lemon zest, cayenne pepper and salt. Toss to evenly coat.
- Spread onto a lined baking tray and roast in oven for 10 minutes (checking and agitating after 5 minutes) or until lightly golden. Allow to cool.
- Store in an air-tight container.
